Coil Out- throw back with longer hair

After posting those pictures of my face and my acne, I feel compelled to move that post on down the page with an oldie but goodie I found. I found this style when looking through my neglected Fotki account and I realized I did it before I started the blog. So I present my coil-out from 2008! Notice I'm hiding my face :-(

Huge single twists saturated with Giovanni walking conditioner, sunset styling lotion and shea butter pomade. Almost done. There are a few double strands in the back, but I changed my mind about them once I saw how the styling lotion was working.

And Done! I wore it like this for a day.

 

Here they are pulled apart a few times.

 

Pulled apart a few more times and pulled into an updo.

I think this style lasted a week and a half, with a high potential of fairy knots.
